The Solid Group has been operating in the finishing materials market for 10 years. We began with the trading of imported building and finishing materials in 1994. In 1999 we began producing our own decorative ceiling tile production under the Solid trademark.
Solid is the leading producer and largest wholesale operator in the market when it comes to ceiling tiles and polystyrene mouldings.
The highlight of the year 2004 is the launch of our new production line for extruded mouldings that meet Solid Company's high standard of quality. Solid currently produces five types of “narrow” and “medium” two-meter long polystyrene moldings. In the nearest future that range will be extended to 15 to 20 types of white moldings of varying profiles.
We continually conduct research into the finishing materials market and strive to satisfy the growing needs of our customers. A wide range of quality accompanying materials is now produced under the Solid trademark: Frost-resistant ceiling mastic, universal polymeric glue and wallpaper adhesive, and PF enamels. In addition to these, Solid offers a wide spectrum of products for finishing walls and ceilings (a list of 5000) from leading Russian and foreign manufacturers. In February 2004 the Solid product range expanded with the introduction of a new product class category - "Premium" Polyurethane Mouldings.
We do not skimp on quality and we do not produce “economy” products. We maintain our image of quality by only manufacturing quality goods, and by providing exemplary service to our wholesalers and customers. Customers see Solid as being a premium product.
We are successful in all regions of the Russian Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan and the CIS Countries. We deliver our products to customers by all means of transport.
In December 2003 the Solid Company became represented in Novosibirsk – Novosibirsk Solid Distributing Centre (NDS Solid). The main objective of the representation is to provide customers of the Western Siberian region with availability of the entire range of products that are produced under the name of Solid and also our entire range of services.
Solid participates at all of the prestigious construction exhibitions held both in Russia and abroad, receiving certificates from them. Annual participation in an exhibition of such prominence as “Russia Building Week” in Moscow demonstrates the sound business reputation of the Solid Company in its market segment.
The quality of our products, progressive development and technological leadership were, and still are, the main objectives in the strategic development course of the company.
